March 21 ( Saturday )
Monthly Fishing Trip
Plans are being finalized for a combined FISHING AND BEACH PICNIC AT DON PEDRO STATE PARK.  This is the Club's annual  trip to the "Park", and should be fun for everyone whether you like fishing, shelling, sunbathing, or just exploring the varied  beach, dune and tidal environment.   If you do not already know, Don Pedro Park is on Litle Gasparilla Island and is accessible only by boat.
The official "Picnic and Fishing"  times are 10:00am to  2:00pm. We have club members  with boats that will "ferry" participants  that do not own boats to and from the park.  The "pick - up" location will be the dock at the "Don Pedro Park- Land Base"  on Placida Road.  The  BBQ Picnic time will start at 12:00 noon, and the club will  provide and BBQ  hamburgers, hot dogs and, rolls and condiments.  Due to logistic considerations, we ask participants to provide ice, beverages, and other snacks or food  on a "bring your own" basis.
RSVP's A MUST.  To make this event a sucess we must  have the membership's early responses so plans can be made for food and transportation.  We will need two RSVP's as follows:  1st concerning your participation and the the number in your group.  2nd If you will need boat-ferry transportation to the park.  Ferrys will only run from 9:30 to10:15am to the park  and back to the mainland from 1:30 to 2:00pm.  Contact Dick Kern for RSVP and Information
